1. What is your vision on where the project should be heading, what are
the focus points for the next year and what are your methods and tools
to get it there?

Xaraya should be looking and moving forward, not lamenting its less than
fortunate past. We should sieze and create opportunities to make the
project more visible and attractive to those outside our community.

In the next year, Xaraya should work toward rebuilding and expanding its
community and itself, cultivating new users and developers, and making
its tools and resources more accessible.

Every person, from active developers to casual observers, has the chance
to contribute in meaningful ways. As a web based project, our website
is the most versatile tool we have.

2. How many hours would you say you will dedicate to Xaraya in a given
interval of time (e.g. per day or week)?

Managing a project is a volunteer part time job which can't be
effectively performed on less than a bare minimum of 15 hours a week.

3. What are the precise and quantifiable goals/objectives by which one
would measure your performance as a member of the PMC?

The PMC's effectiveness can be measured by what the project achieves.
Web, mail list, and repository traffic and users, download metrics, bug
turnover (submit, process, resolve), and ideas from the community.

4. What contributions have you made on a regular basis to the project in
the last year?

I've been one of the few keeping the project on life support for the
past year. I rolled out the last couple releases, have been working on a
revamp of www.xaraya.com, and improvements to our build system.
Recently I've been working with Marc on what will hopefully become the
continuance of the 2x core branch.
