Comments were never activated on articles on the website to date, as
this creates even more work for those wanting to reply and offer support
or replies, than following a forum. A person has to traverse  many more
pages to see and monitor comments. It is even  more difficult to track
than posts on the forum (I think this is what was meantd by activating
comments, apologies if i've misinterpretted).

John Cox did a nice hook in the xarbb forums. This I know was broken
later at some point but should be fixed now. When xarbb is hooked to
articles, there is an option on article creation to automatically create
a topic of the article in a specific forum for discussion. This might be
useful in the above context.
