Policy and Procedures Status

The PMC, in order to initiate a clear and expeditious "reboot" of the entire 
project, declares any and all policies, procedures, team memberships, and 
authorities (whether de facto, implicit or explicit) enacted before 10 Feb 
2009 as being under review.

The one exception to this is the Code of Conduct (announcement: 
http://www.xaraya.com/index.php/news/767 and full text: 
http://www.xaraya.com/index.php/docs/763) which at this time will continue 
to be in force unchanged.

In the coming weeks and months, we will endeavor to review everything. Our 
desire will be to enact more efficient and inclusive policies and procedures 
which present the lowest reasonable barrier to project participation. The 
PMC prefers to institute modern practices which will work for the project in 
its current state and going forward, rather than simply continue those of 
the past.

Community members should reply to this thread with links to documents they 
feel need review. We ask that you do not plea for any policy to be 
maintained. As stated above, everything enacted before 10 Feb 2009 (except 
the CoC) is subject to repeal, deprecation and/or amendment.
