Aruba 1.2 Milestone 7: Granular https support

This milestone has now been completed, and provided as a patch at 
http://www.xaraya.com/~dracos/https_on_demand.patch until it can be 
further tested.  Volunteers, please.

Although more complex/comprehensive solutions have been suggested, this 
is what was on the roadmap at the end of the discussion period.

This and the aruba.xd2xt scenario mark the tentative end of 1.2 
development not related to AJAX or jQuery.  Now the real fun can begin.
