I must retire the machine that hosts our main monotone interface. The
machine takes up too much space in our racks and is getting disk
failures. Disk replacement, as done in the past, is not economically
viable anymore.  In general, the machine is getting too old to be of
practical use.

The machine hosts mainly monotone related things, the databases,
mtnview and trac. The storage of some things point to a postgres
database on faraday (also in retirement planning, but not as high
priority)

There was at some point a new machine to replace davinci, but I've
understood that this is not the case anymore?=20

Quite literally, the plug will be pulled on davinci in about 4 weeks
time; a replacement solution should be in place before then.
