1.0 Tree

Will there be any planned releases of the 1.0 tree?  If not, will there be a
maintainer for the tree?  There is some value in the tree for me, and I'd
like to maintain or fork it after it's final release.  Most of what I have
worked on is removing the majority of the core UI to a single page, and
removing some of the non-essential systems for quick development (IE, more
of a development platform than a standalone application).  I don't want to
maintain a release cycle per se, but I would like to see a Xaraya Lite
version for the abandoned code / modules.  The main thing I don't want to do
is merge against a living platform hence the question.
