That is a simple and very common way.

Users can use the predefined MyBugs search for all bugs you are involved
(reported, CC'ed, QA responsible) with.

Additionally users may want to use Bugzilla's vote function to create a
personal list of favored bugs. Changes here don't create bug spam messages.
