Xaraya 2.1.0 RC 1 (Jamaica) Released

The first release candidate of Xaraya 2.1.0 (Jamaica) is now available 
at http://sourceforge.net/projects/xaraya/.

The main highlights of this release are bugfixes in the previous beta 
release and the addition of an upgrade routine from Xaraya 2.0.0.

The changes in Xaraya 2.1.0 RC 1 are listed in detail below.

1. Simplified the installer process by reducing the number of steps and 
simplifying the configuration options
2. Created consistent configuration variables for version name, 
subversion, version number and revision (build).
3. Fixed the "new password" generation in the Roles module (was 
redirecting to an improper page),and hide the icon when the option to 
generate passwords is not set.
4. Created an upgrader routine for Xaraya 2x with basic database 
consistency checks.
5. Removed the roles_roles dataobject and adjusted the roles itemtypes.
6. Fixed various minor bugs and layout/display issues.

The final release of Xaraya 2.1.0, will incorporate bugfixes identified 
in this release and possibly further enhancements to the upgrader.
