Thank you for your excellent suggestion. I will set to incorporating a general overview of Xaraya into the Guide. I appreciate your suggestions! -----Original Message----- From: SpiritTech To: [email protected] Sent: 10/12/2003 9:52 AM Subject: [Xaraya_docs] Basic skeletal intro to Xaraya concepts I'm new to Xaraya and have been looking at it for a few days now. Trouble is that I'm not getting very far. It sounds really cool and the answer to do all the things which I want to do. But after going through the documentation I still don't know how to do it. There is one very basic fundamental thing missing. What about a basic overview of how Xaraya works? The guide does not have one. And if it does have one, then take it from me that a beginer can't find it. The docs look great, but they are over my head. I think that if I had an explanation of how the pieces fit together then I could struggle through it to the point of having things make sense. The interview with John Cox actually explained more about the basic working of Xaraya than the guide did. I think the guide would make a lot more sense if there is a 1 or 2 paragraph explanation of what the different parts are and how they fit toghether. Having to read 150K of text about every module to try and gleam information on how it works is probably like reading my message here which should simply state : Is there a basic explanation of what the parts in Xaraya are and how they work together? SpiritTech PS Just in case my tone is not clear. The program looks great, I just can't figure out how to use it though... please help me :-) _______________________________________________ Xaraya_docs mailing list [email protected] http://lists.xaraya.com/mailman/listinfo/xaraya_docs
