I often find the complete opposite is a problem: a link opens in the same page using JavaScript, and I want to open it in a new window, but I can't as the JavaScript gets confused and errors. It's often used for downloads, and probably contains some sort of browser sense to trigger the browser into downloading something - I don't really understand it, but it can be right old pain. -- JJ
