In the scenario given, datavortex used the user Admin on the Xaraya side,
not on the PN side. There is no need to create one on the PN side...

[And I don't really see why you'd need to use "Admin" in the first place,
unless there are some differences in the # of roles that are created at
install - I'll have a look at that.]

For the rest, import should work with the following scenario :

1. install with community site option
2. initialize + activate each of the following modules in this order :
   a. categories
   b. comments
   c. hitcount
   d. ratings
   e. articles
3. run import8.php from the Xaraya html root (while you're still
   logged in)

No changes to permissions, hooks or whatever are necessary.
