Less directories just seems to me a better idea, IMHO...

themes/theme_name/pages/
                                     | - default.pnt
                                     | - admin.pnt

In addition, as I was thinking about it,

1) default.pnt for the "user" type and admin.pnt for the "admin" type -
why not just user.pnt for the "user" type. thus making the relationship
more obvious?
2) keep default.pnt and associate it to the site's default module, the
site's "homepage."
Many website have a unique looking homepage, it typically either being
one of the most aggregated pages, or the one with expanding images,
flash, etc. It would be nice to have a way to assign a unique master
template to a site's "default" module.

themes/theme_name/pages/
                                     | - default.pnt
                                     | - user.pnt
                                     | - admin.pnt

Thoughts? comments?
