Display a Category as the Content on the Home Page

Hi,

I have a category displaying a set of Category Images (2 rows of 4 images), 
which i would like to be the main content on the Home Page (with additional 
content above and below it).

Does anyone know the best way to have a Category displayed as content on the 
Home Page?
