Hi Jason,

I tried your suggested symbol combinations:
$
$$
$foo
0.50
$!

Each produced the expected result, nothing was removed or altered.  
Its only when I write a dollar sign followed immediately by a number  
that it vanishes. So writing $5 on the form results in it being  
completely removed. Writing $f has no effect and it appears on the  
page fine.

I've tested in Firefox, Internet Explorer 6 and Safari, all produce  
the same result. Next I will try a fresh install of Xaraya on the  
DreamHost account and see whether I can duplicate the problem.
