log-in cookie problem when using IE

I've got a new installation fo xarara 1.1.2 and when I try to login 
using index.php/roles I get the following error in IE:

> User Error
> Missing Data 
> You must enable cookies on your browser to run Xaraya. Check the browser configuration options to make sure cookies are enabled, click on the "Back" button of the browser and try again.
> 
> Problem: 
> A value was expected during this operation, but none was found.

When I use Firefox, there is no error.  Also, my old installation using 
Xarara 0.9.9 has no problem with login in IE or Firefox.
