This branch has been renamed "unstable". I would take it like that.

Expect huge/minor/massive changes in this branch.

Our stable branch is the 1.1 one, which can be either checked out from 
monotone (untested, so maybe not stable), or downloaded as an official 
release (currently 1.1.2; 1.1.3 is coming).
