Before the update to ZMS 2.9.4 the declarative URLs function works
fine. (ZMS 2.3.2 and 2.8.1)
There aren't any duplicate url names in "titleAlt" over the whole site.

Perhaps I have forgotten to explain more deeply:
The SpecialObjects in the root-page are page-elements.
They hold an attribute (xheadline not titlealt !) with entries equal
to the titlealt of some of the main channel-folders!

The URL mapping seems to be disturbed by these page-elements...

If the update works despite the declative URL function there only
seems to
be a problem with the resolution of your url names. Important: All the
URLs
names must be unique.

Betreff: [zms-developers] Update from old ZMS 2.3.2 to ZMS 2.9 and
higher

Hello,

I have some trouble updating my old ZMS 2.3.2 instances to the actual
release.

Here are my update steps:

ZMS 2.3.2-b45 (Zope 2.7.3-0, python 2.3.4)
 > ZMS 2.8.1-a02 (Zope 2.7.3-0, python 2.3.4)
 > ZMS 2.9.4-41 (Zope 2.9.7-final, python 2.4.4)
 > ZMS 2.10.3-18_1 (Zope 2.10.4-final, python 2.4.4)

Workflow, History, Cache, etc. was completely disabled.

After the step from 2.3.2 to 2.8.1 eyerything is fine.
The problem occurred when updating to 2.9 and persits when updating to
2.10.

The problem:
When I turn on "Declarative URLs" some pages are not found anymore...
No special Error-Message, just "The resource could not be found"

The strange part of this problem is that there must be a dependency
upon some SpecialObjects
in the root-page. The pages with "TitleAlt" similar to the attribute
"xheadline" of the SpecialObject aren't
found. When I change the name to a different one, so not matching the
"TitleAlt" of the pages
the pages will be found again....

Does anyone know this problem? Is there a more secure step from 2.8 to
2.9?
