Sorry, I do not get on with it.
Does it mean, ZMS can integrate every kind of foreign homepage's
content?
Or just ZMS-Objects under another domain?
Or Objects between ZMSs on different Zope-Instances?
Or between independent ZMSs on the same Zope-Instance?

I would be too pleased to test it by myself, but if I put any
http-address in the link's url field and press insert, the browser does
exactly nothing but showing the hourglass. My network-sniffing tool
tells me that there happens even nothing on the wire. I tried it with
FF2.x and IE6. ZMS 2.11.0-16 (Build #131b).

Something with Javascript, or some missing Python Module?

To be as close as possible on your example I did it also locally:
Linkobject:
http://127.0.0.1:8081/Tests/embed_remote/tex/content/e131/manage_main

Target object:
http://localhost:8081/Tests/embed_remote/myzmsx/content/e7

Die Fabrik der Zukunft wird nur zwei Angestellte haben: einen Mann und
einen Hund. Der Mann ist dafür da, den Hund zu füttern. Der Hund ist
dafür da, den Mann daran zu hindern, den Computer zu berühren.
