Redundant images

Hi,

some folks who are working in our system have about 50 folders with 3
subfolders in each of them.
The structure within the 50 folders is always the same, so the title
images of the subfolders.
there are 3 different images at all, one for each of the 3 subfolders.
but by putting them into the 50 folders, they get about 150 image
objects at all.
Is there a possibillity to have only 3 images in the store instead of
150?
