maybe you name the zms build you are working withm because I can not find any similar behaviour.
Please explain a little deeper your observation "the script cannot find the 'title' value (+ or -) from the arrowicon".
Is there an error message in the error log?

HINT:
after updating an old JS version my persist in the browser cache and cause strange effects. STRG+F5 may help here.
