ZMS using CMF Skins Tool

Currently I am trying to work with Filesystem Directory Views registered in CMF Skins Tool. Templates and scripts are on the filesystem in a working copy checked out of my version control system (subversion). That separates my application code from zms core files (TTW DTML Methods of spec. objects and DTML for templating).

Anyone out there doing the same, knowing of some problems or a dead end for this kind of development??? Any suggestion for improvements are welcome.
