i've dived in the problem by some debugging and found out that i had several 
defects within the ZMS object tree of the regarding instances (all of them < 
2.13 ).

After repairing them recursively by a script (was not able to find out where 
the objects was differently even by debugging it) which loaded and saved any 
object within the tree the mediadb cleanout was working well as expected now. 
;)

With such a stable ZMS object tree now i've gone up to 2.13 with that 
instances now and will check what will happen within the next future.
