This is very much on topic. FPC has no build system so what do you do when
you encounter a project like this without clear building? I want to try
this too but I have no idea what to do with it. It’s just a bunch of
directories and some text files not about building.

Does it even run on macOS?  I built the one program file I found (fpmake.pas)
but running that crashes. Looks like a cool project but I don’t have time
for any more than this.

If there’s anything that would kill a compiler more it would have to be
“new user can’t build projects”.  Even for me I will simply ignore projects
because I don’t want to spend 30 minutes digging around source code and
asking questions on mail lists.
