backtrace from shared library?

Hi, Is there any way to obtain a backtrace from exceptions thrown in a shared library? I've tried using DumpExceptionCallStack https://wiki.freepascal.org/Logging_exceptions but the problem is that ExceptFrameCount is zero. There does not seem to be any stack at all. No hexadecimal addresses, let alone line numbers.
