Note that installing FPC will not result in anything appearing in the 
Applications folder. It only consists of command line tools. If you want 
a GUI interface to FPC, have a look at https://www.lazarus-ide.org/

How can we get those notes added to the installation instructions?


Yes, I will be adding Lazarus to my setup next. The instructions said I definitely needed FPC installed BEFORE installing Lazarus, so I started with that.
