  The problem is pretty nasty. After fixing some botched type resolution
last week, it uncovered this problem as well as the host-association
problem I mentioned a couple days ago. In this case, the parser takes a
partial wrong turn and ends up creating the 'p' symbol when it should not.
The scheme I have planned for fixing the host-association problem should
fix this problem as well. I've been putting it off because it means some
pretty drastic changes, but it looks like other things are broken too.

Works for me:

andy@fulcrum:~/g95/g95 % cat tst.f90
program
  print *, iargc()
end
andy@fulcrum:~/g95/g95 % g95 tst.f90
andy@fulcrum:~/g95/g95 % a.out hi
1
andy@fulcrum:~/g95/g95 % a.out hi hi
2
andy@fulcrum:~/g95/g95 %

   Not yet, though this is planned too.
