The offer in supporting people to get missing pieces of extended pascal 
(FPC's ISO support should be pretty complete) supported in FPC is still 
valid. But so far only a few tests are produced.

This depends on you. FPC is not they. Every pascal programmer can 
contribute its share.

All FPC sources are OSS and written in pascal, so you can always 
continue on adapting it. Of course, you can try again to keep the pace 
of GCC/LLVM and getting behind again. It's almost 30 years ago (wow, 
that long) that I decided that a GCC pascal frontend is not the way to 
go but a pascal compiler in pascal. I am still convinced this is the 
right approach :)
