The dependency on Avalon has been removed. Also, JacORB now requires JDK 1.5 or higher to build and run. Many bugs have also been fixed. Please see the release notes under doc/REL_NOTES and the Programming Guide for details about the changes. Thanks to everybody who contributed to this release.
