Dear list subscribers,

the JacORB team is pleased to announce the availability of a new
beta release of JacORB 2.0. In addition to a number of important
bug fixes in many areas, the main improvements include more
work on ETF, more flexible use of logging mechanisms, and
dependency checks in the IDL compiler to avoid unneccessary
generation and compilation of mapped Java code. (Please note
that a few configuration options have changed for logging.
Please consult the new properties template file in etc/).

Thanks to all beta testers and contributors who helped us
improve JacORB!
