FYI - ORB classloader change in Java 7u55, Java 8u5 - Suggestions needed

For posterity's sake, I believe Oracle reverted the ORBSingleton 
classloader changes:

http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/7u65-relnotes-2229169.html
http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/8u20-relnotes-2257729.html

So if anyone hits this, the problematic versions of Java are:

  * [7u55,7u65)
  * [8u5,8u20)
