it should be pretty straight forward to do, look at $JACORB_HOME/test/regression/README first. There are tons of examples of client/server tests, for example I just added test/regression/src/test/java/org/jacorb/test/bugs/bug1013. It's a little more complicated since it involves the IMR but otherwise fairly similar.
