example Jacorb test

Hi,
I'm a newbie in this topic.

For the first steps in the installation, I followed the guide (pdf) and git
page. The steps are:
- install Ubuntu 16
- download and install jdk 1.7 and maven
- set java_home and m2_home
- download and install log4j
- download jacorb source code
- mvn clean install in directory where is pom.xml
- in the example test mvn clean install of hello example

Now I would like to run the hello example, what is the correct way to do it?
I tried to start the jar file in the target, but It doesn't work.
In the programming guide pdf are not clear this steps and also I'm a rellay
newbie :)
