Good Morning,

I've been asked to post this question and I do apologize if this has already been asked.
With the release of JDK 11, Java will be removing the java.corba packages from JDK as per JEP-320 ( http://openjdk.java.net/jeps/320 ).
A few of our legacy systems which we still actively develop make extensive use of Jacorb and CORBA in general and we are looking to try and understand the implications this will have on our systems.
My question is does Jacorb make use of any of the underlying JDK corba packages and will we still be able to make use of it in software written following the removal of these packages in JDK 11?

Any help on the above would be greatly appreciated,
Kind regards,
Chris Forbes
