As you may have seen from the mailing lists there has been some discussions on support for latest JDK versions. Currently JacORB does have some reliance on internal classes (specifically around javax.rmi etc). Some previous emails from community members ( Eric Pierskalla and others) on the thread java 9 have discussed some options. I have experimented with attempting to remove the dependency and/or layer on an alternative. However I haven't had a lot of time to work on it ; we would welcome contributions in this area. Would your company be able to contribute to this?
