Client outside a firewall

Hi,

I have a client application outside a firewall that needs to connect to
a server using POA that resides inside a firewall.

What shoud I configure in order to get the comunication stablished?

Untill this moment I have made no configuration and there is no
restriction on the router. But I'am getting the exception:

org.omg.CORBA.COMM_FAILURE:   minor code: 1146056970  completed: No
