Hi, I am a newbie to CORBA. I was going through the sample demos, especially Chapter 21 sample. As per the book the Controller application forwards the requests to Devicelocator for finding out the devices. I could not understand the importance of the function Preinvoke and post invoke in this class which acts as a Servant Locator. When multiple request do come across to the Controller class. How does the actual Thermmometer objects get passed over the wire to client and what role does the Devicelocator class play in this. The sample client application invoked the Controller class directly and finds the availability of Thermometer object and then invokes method on this. Waiting for a reply asap. Thanks and regards, Vishwanath _______________________________________________ OB-Users Mailing List - [email protected] http://mail.ooc.nf.ca/mailman/listinfo/ob-users Visit our support FAQ before you send a message. http://www.orbacus.com/faq/support.html
