basic orbacus security

Hi,

I don't think I can do this because of the constraints imposed..... but I'll 
give it a try anyways.

Basically I need to restrict/control access to orbacus servers (say the Name 
Service for the simple case, but also to home grown servers I write myself). 
Now, assuming that the SSL approach is not available to me, is there any way 
(apart from writing some sort of authentication servers etc. myself) that I 
can have orbacus control acccess to my servers? The people upstairs tell me 
that it needs to be done on an IP address basis as opposed to login 
(principal).

I can't see any way to do it but then again I ain't so seasoned in Orbacus. 
Anyways if anybody has any insights I'd be delighted to hear them.
