for memory increasing in a corba server

Hi, 
   In our application, we find that a corba server
uses more and more memories when it responds clients'
requests and  runs long times. To verify this, we
modify the hello programs(in
./OB-4.1.3/ob/demo/hello),for examples Client.cpp,
Hello.idl,Hello_impl.cpp and so on, as in the
attachment. 
   The test is as fillowing(on WINDOWS):
   (11)starting server, the real memory and virtual
memory used is: 4,100K and 1,192K;
   (12)starting five clients(in Client.cpp, line
53:int seq_length = 2000000;)
      ,now for the server the real memory and virtual
memory used is: 4,272K and 1,264K;
   (13)kill the five clients, for the server the real
memory and virtual memory used is: 4,244K and 1,208K.
   comparing (11) with (13), the real memory and
virtual memory used by the server is increased.
   
   Another test:
   (21)starting server, the real memory and virtual
memory used is: 4,100K and 1,192K;
   (22)starting five clients(in Client.cpp, line
53:int seq_length = 2000000;)
      ,now for the server the real memory and virtual
memory used is: 4,248K and 1,264K;
   (23)starting another three clients(in Client.cpp,
line 53:int seq_length = 5000000;)
     ,now for the server the real memory and virtual
memory used is: 4,312K and 1,316K;
   (24)kill the 8 clinets,  for the server the real
memory and virtual memory used is: 4,256K and 1,220K.
  comparing (24)  with  (21), the real memory and
virtual memory used by the server is increased.
   and  comparing (24)  with  (13), the real memory
and virtual memory used by the server also is
increased.
   
   On ALpha platform, we observer similar results.
   In the attachment file get_net.txt created by
get_netstat,  a server named rtdb_server likes server
in hello. At beginning, the real memory and virtual
memory used is: 8.1M and 28.9M ,and has 72
connections(threads), and at last, the real memory and
virtual memory used is: 103M and 140M, and 265
threads. Further, in the processing, the thread number
of rtdb_server is changing. We donot hope the memory
used by rtdb_server is increasing, this will do harm
to our application. what is the reason for the
question?
