redirecting trace/logger output from Naming Service

Hi -

I'm trying to figure out if there is an option that I can give that will 
allow me to redirect the output from setting the "ooc.naming.trace_level". 
I'm putting the nameserv under IMR control, so I do not want to have to 
rely on the UNIX ">&" redirection for messages sent to standard output.

I was also wondering whether it's possible to obtain the messages that the 
nameserv sends out from within my client/server code (when my code makes 
calls to the nameserv).
