In general, this will work for any IDL defined interface, since the
generated code will automatically have the proper constructs for
reference counting.

The main concern whenever the "OB::ObjVar" template is used is that the
class passed in has derived from the proper classes to implement
reference counting. As I said, for IDL defined interfaces this is done
automatically. And since you are deriving from that class, you should be
fine.
