Resetting retry counts in a PushConsumer

Hi -

I am currently using the MaxRetries QoS parameter to cleanup after an 
unclean exit of the PushConsumer to a Notification Channel. 
Unfortunately, after a few hours of running, the Consumer is not able to 
process the information fast enough, so the retry count gets to MaxRetries 
and exits.  I was wondering if there is any way in the PushConsumer code 
to reset the number of retry counts?  I don't want to just increase the 
MaxRetries, since it will eventually hit this value given anyway given the 
volume of information being passed through our channel.
