There are no special requirement for building Orbacus as root. You can build it as any user as long as the installation directory specified in 'runconfig' can be accessed by that user (so the installation files can be written there). Once the installation is complete, the installation directory must be accessible by all users who may potentially want to use the product. This is the same as any other product installation.
