Hi All! Some years ago our company developed client/server software using ORBAcus 412 on Windows platform. Client and Server communication was based on IMR. Now our issues is to move server software to Solaris 9/10. I tried but can't compile ORBAcus 412, which our company bought times ago on Intel/Solaris 9/Sun C++ 5.7. The reason are configuration errors: ...... checking host system type... i386-pc-solaris2.9 checking for gcc... cc checking for C compiler default output... configure: error: C compiler cannot create executables configure: error: /bin/bash './configure' failed for jtc >From other hand I have downloaded and successfully compiled ORBAcus 430 eval on the same platform ( Intel/Solaris 9/Sun C++ 5.7.) Now I have successfully ported our software to Intel/Solaris 9/Sun C++ 5.7 and build it. But I can't find the IMR in the ORBAcus 430 eval, and I am afraid that old client software can't work without it. My questions are: 1. Why I can't compile ORBAcus 412 on Intel/Solaris 9/Sun C++ 5.7. 2. Why IMR is absent in ORBAcus 430 eval. 3. Does client and server software must be same ORBAcus version ? Please help. Thanks With best wishes. Sergei. __________________________________ Yahoo!
