4.1.2 and 4.3.1 in single app

Hello,

I would be very grateful for some information about using two different 
versions of Orbacus ORB in the same application simultaneously.
The situation is as follows:
A Java application that we are developing now will need to cooperate 
with two other applications. One of them, written in Java, uses Orbacus 
4.1.2, and this cannot be changed. Another is a C++ application that 
we'd like to use the newest Orbacus (4.3.1).
We have been told that it may not be entirely safe to use Orbacus 4.3.1 
only in our Java app because there may be issues with communicating with 
the external application using version 4.1.2. Therefore we think about 
using two Orbacus ORBs in our application - one ver. 4.1.2 that would 
talk with the other app that uses Orbacus 4.1.2, and one ver. 4.3.1 to 
talk with the C++ app.

The question is:
can two versions of Orbacus coexist and be used at the same time in one 
Java application? If so then can it have any undesired influence on 
application functionality (possible unexpected interactions or something)?
We see it as follows:
1. stubs used by the external Java application using Orbacus 4.1.2 would 
be generated with Orbacus 4.1.2,
2. stubs used by the external C++ application using Orbacus 4.3.1 would 
be generated with Orbacus 4.3.1,
3. at runtime we would instantiate both ORBs.
