Hi,
we're running an application here that uses IONA's JTC 2.0.0 threads
wrapper library. It's a black box as far as we're concerned.
We're seeing a SEVERE leak in handles on certain systems and after further
investigation, we are seeing semaphores being leaked (100,000 of them!).
Ultimately we end up getting a CORBA::NO_RESOURCES because of this leak.
Now it strikes me that either the library is buggy or the authors of this
(OLD) legacy code misuse the library/api's.
So before I go wading through the source code and digesting the docs, does
anybody know if this is a known issue in the 2.0.0 version of the library?
If yes, great, I'm all ears. If not, no worries I reckon I'll just have to
waaaaaaaaade :)
thanks much and have a nice weekend.
Graham
