ORB shutdown and restart

Hello, I am using Orbacus 3.3.2. I am writing a a c++ application in which i want that on the reception of a particular signal the Orb should be reinitialized with the new arguments, how do i shutdown the orb and re-init it? is it possible to only change the properties without restarting the orb? and in orbacus 3.3.2 it seems there is no orb->destroy. so how do i go about shutting the orb and restarting it?
