Hi Joe, after compiling and rebuilding the fix you have sent, everything works fine with irfeed.exe. So many thanx for your immidiate help. Next step is to build and verify the ORB on SunOS. This is a known problem with "irfeed" and it has been fixed. The problem was basically due to the '_' being stripped off the begining of a remote call to '_is_a'. The fix is very simple and involves one file. File: OB-4.3.1/ob/src/library/POAServantBase.cpp Fix: Line 173, Add: if(!strcmp(op, "_interface") || !strcmp(op, "_is_a") || !strcmp(op, "_non_existent")) return -1; This prevents the strip for these special cases.
