Hi,

Yes, David is right. I choose this maximum radial distance from the 
start point to avoid annoying behaviors such as go forward 0.5 meters 
and backwards 0.5 meter and repeat this as long as possible to gather a 
maximum path length. The radial distance rule avoid such problems but it 
doesn't reflect the miles counter of the robot which is not what we want.
