Hi Dennis, You are correct, there might be some issues with file permissions. Actually, the files you upload are owned by apache and have limited write permissions for other users. Your controller runs as a different user. I will fix this by making that all the files you upload are readable and writable by your controller as well. Thanks for pointing that out. Could you check on today's match and let me know if it works better for you ? BTW, as you may have noticed the round server crashed yesterday in the middle of the round. This is was an external problem which caused the server machine to reboot. Hopefully, the round will complete properly today. -Olivier debrunne wrote: >Hi everybody > >we just experienced an annoying series of fights in which our robot >didn't move a single step. on our laptops it works just fine. so we >figured it might have something to do with the file-permissions. do >we only have read-access to the files log.txt, score.txt and >memory.dat? because we stored our movements in textfiles this would >be rather serious... > >Greetz, Dennis (RoDeBot) > > > ------------------------ Yahoo!
