Hi,
I just disabled Sofos, as I believe it behaves in an unfair way:
Actually, it creates many java Threads in a loop until the system runs
out of thread resources (more than 400 threads). Then, the other
competitor has no chance to create a new java Thread after the system
has run out of threads and hence it won't behave properly... It might
not be intentional from Sofos and might be the result of a bug, but if
the author of Sofos read these lines, please fix your controller!
I will check from time to time controllers using too much of Java
resources (mainly Threads and huge dynamic memory allocation) and will
disable those I consider to be unfair.
By the way, I searched the Java security technology to find out a way to
limit the number of Threads and the amount of dynamic memory a Java
process could use, but apparently, there are no security solutions to
such problems. Any hint is welcome...
